Christmas was well...

GREAT. I can honestly say that 2007 was not a good year for me. I could probably even extend that statement to the rest of my family. We went through a lot of changes. We experienced a lot of ups and downs. I'm usually excited about Christmas. I was definitely excited about getting my first tree and decorating it. But I've found that the older I get, the less excited I am about the holiday. I'm hoping that will change when I have kids of my own.

I'd have to say that I was pleasantly surprised once the holiday did come and go. I received some great presents from my friends and fam. I wasn't expecting anything so it felt good seeing how much other people care. One of my guy friends even surprised me with a great present. I wasn't even expecting a present from him.

Everybody liked the gifts I bought them as well. My roommate and I accidentally bought both my father and brother the same thing though. We didn't realize it until we were sitting at the table Christmas Eve opening presents. It was kind of funny. I guess great minds do think alike. I hope everybody had a wonderful holiday and best wishes in the New Year.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I can't believe this year is already coming to a close. The time has gone so fast. But on the flip side, I'm excited about Christmas! This year I'm getting my first Christmas tree and I can't wait to put it up. I decided to do it up diva style and decorate my tree with all pink ornaments. I even found some great lights that look like pearls. Thanks Target! I'll be sure to post a picture once I get it up and decorated this weekend.
